Lladro is a porcelain company known for producing figurines in its factory complex known as the City of Porcelain in Tavernes Blanques, a city located near Valencia in Spain. Three brothers, Juan, José and Vicente Lladró, began making small porcelain sculptures near their home in Almàssera, Spain. Their work quickly became popular with collectors, and they built the City of Porcelain in 1969 to produce their products in large numbers.
