In 1997, after recognizing a demand for antique reproductions in the United States, Glyn & Jill Styles moved their wholesale furniture company, G&J Styles Inc, to High Point, NC. They emerged at their first show with only 300 square feet and a small range of merchandise. Meanwhile, fellow antique dealer Tim Oulton, along with his brother Charles, assumed control of Halo, a company established by their father in 1975. Tim’s vision for expanding the company came to fruition when he created Halo Asia.
