Soane Britain was founded in 1997 by Lulu Lytle and Christopher Hodsoll. Soane Britain was established to address the demand for architecturally inspired bespoke furniture, lighting and artefacts. Alongside the company’s permanent collection and one-off pieces, Soane also works on whole interior design projects.

Soane Britain designs and makes outstanding furniture, lighting, upholstery and interior necessities. We bring together contemporary, antique and 20th Century design with the best of British craftsmanship.

The various cabinet-makers, blacksmiths, saddlers, upholsterers, and silversmiths with whom we collaborate are the very best in the UK and we are passionate about championing their skills.

Every Soane piece is made to the client's specification, using many metals, hand-dyed leathers, vellums, timbers, fossilized marbles and lacquers.

Customers include interior decorators and architects from all over the world and Soane's furniture can be found in many hotels, restaurants, private members clubs, boardrooms, yachts and extraordinary homes.
