About a company
I, Jeffree Turney, established Lone Ranger Antiques in 1986. Since then I have been traveling to Sweden 5 months a year, searching for the most unusual and unique country antiques.
For 3 months every summer I travel through the Swedish countryside going to 18th and 19th century estate auctions. This enables me to find the most incredible period pieces.
I live in Hollywood, Florida but I have no shop. I do all my sales at antique-shows like the Spring and Fall shows in Brimfield Mass. and the Spring and Fall shows in Round Top, Texas.
Lone Ranger Antiques offers you the most unusual selection of Swedish country antiques you will ever find.
Most of the pieces I purchase have been painted multiple times and they need to be restored. If I find an original painted piece I'll leave it that way. If a piece has many coats of paint then it gets stripped and repainted in the old style.
I purchase items from the early 18th to the early 20th century. Some of my pieces have been reworked. For example feet have been added to cabinets, drawers to tables and glass tops to old cabinet bottoms. All my clocks are restored and new works are installed.
