With live entertainment and food and drink in the Museum’s Central Hall, plus access to the latest exhibitions after-hours on the last Friday of every month, Lates with MasterCard offers one of London’s most unique nights out.

Night Safari with MasterCard
There’s no need to go to Africa for your safari fix – come face to face with nature’s weird and wonderful creatures in an exclusive evening tour.
Relax with a drink in the Central Hall, where your tour will begin and continue through the adjoining galleries, passing our most famous and intriguing exhibits. Along the way, you’ll get up close and personal with our scientists, who will discuss the fascinating stories behind their favourite specimens.
The theme for Night Safari changes every time, meaning you can keep delving deeper and discover more about Natural History.

Dino Snores for Grown-ups
One of the UK’s most extraordinary events, this sleepover offers an unforgettable evening of music, art, science and cinema in the mysterious setting of the Museum at night. All you need is an enquiring mind, a sense of adventure and a sleeping bag, of course.
A whole host of activities will be on offer throughout the night, including:
- sleeping under Dippy, the much loved Diplodocus skeleton, in the famous Central Hall
- entry into the latest exhibitions and galleries
- a science show featuring gruesome forensics and an insight into the sex lives of insects
- stand-up comedy and live music
- an all-night natural horror movie marathon
- life-drawing classes in the Darwin Centre atrium
- a three-course dinner and cooked breakfast in the Museum’s restaurant

Science Uncovered
For one night only, the Natural History Museum throws open its doors to give you exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to our science and specimens. Science Uncovered is your chance to discover more about the latest scientific research, meet the scientists and enjoy a drink in the grand setting of the Museum’s Central Hall. Following on from the success of previous years, this unique free evening promises to be even better, with plenty more to see and do.
There will be activities suitable for everyone throughout the day but, from 18.00, events will be more geared towards an adult audience.
