Munich, Shanghai, Singapore. Devon & devon invests in single brand retailing and announces the opening of four new stores

Munich, Shanghai and Singapore: three diverse metropolitan cities, distinctive in geography and culture, but similar in sharing a deep interest in the ‘Made in Italy’ brand and in experiencing significant growth in the luxury goods market.

 The international aspirations of Devon&Devon - the designer bathroom brand from Florence - are considerably strengthened thanks to these multiple showroom openings which aim to diversify and reinforce the brand's presence in international markets.

One of the company’s key objectives is to expand its distribution network by entering emerging markets - particularly Asia, with a double opening in Shanghai and Singapore - and strengthening its consolidated markets such as Germany, where the brand is present and has been growing steadily since 2011, when the first flagship store was opened in Hamburg.

 The four new stores bear the signature style of Devon&Devon's Art Director Paola Ciarmatori Tanini and perfectly express the brand’s core concept. Restrained, refined and elegant furniture characterise sophisticated spaces where new creations are showcased alongside the brand's best sellers, creating the ideal balance of recent productions and earlier classics.

"In the last 10 years, the development of our single brand retail channel has been the main driving force behind our brand’s growth, showing a more mature ability to express our corporate identity and provide enhanced service to our professional and consumer targets", said Gianni Tanini, Managing Director of Devon&Devon. As he points out "the expansion of our distribution network is fundamental to our strategy: by 2018, we will have opened 25 new stores in other important Asian cities."
