‘12’: GLAS ITALIA AT VENICE ART EXHIBITION– CA' PESARO GALLERY AND FORTUNY MUSEUM
‘12’ – by the number of designers participating – is the name of the exhibition organized by Venice City Museums Foundation in collaboration with GLAS ITALIA with valuable contribution of Daniele Sorrentino which will be held in Venice in magnificent museums ‘Palazzo Fortuny’ and ‘Ca' Pesaro’ – the International Gallery of Modern Art – simultaneously.
The motive of this exhibition was the desire to see designing in a different light, returning it to its natural utilitarian function.
Both of these museums will present a series of interior design items that famous designers from around the world have created for Glas Italia: from Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec to Piero Lissoni, from Michele De Lucchi to Nendo, from Jean-Marie Massaud to Naoto Fukasawa, from Ron Gilad to Johanna Grawunder, from Jasper Morrison to Tokujin Yoshioka, from Elena Cutolo to Ettore Sottsass.
‘Ca' Pesaro’ and ‘Palazzo Fortuny’ visitors will be given an opportunity to admire the things exhibited as well as to enjoy the ‘design objects’ scattered along the visitor routes of these museums.
