Luxury Menswear Brand OTTO Launches First Concept Store in Mayfair
OTTO, a one-of-a-kind luxury menswear brand, has launched their first concept store on Mayfair’s Grosvenor Street.
Founded by ‘Curatore’ Tony Giallonardo, OTTO remains focused on delivering the ultimate tailoring and luxury clothing experience in a unique environment – one based on unparalleled service and Italian craftsmanship and style. OTTO (pronounced OH-TOH) introduces an unprecedented vision for the well-dressed man and redefines the man’s shopping experience in a way guaranteed to leave every customer looking great and feeling his best. The fabrics are individually sourced in Italy and handmade using the finest Italian craftsmanship. OTTO specialises in made-to-measure coats and jackets, suits, cashmere knits, handmade jeans, hand-stitched shoes, and a wide selection of casual and outerwear, in addition to a selection of beautiful accessories. OTTO also carries an extensive ready-to-wear collection, all of which is also handmade in Italy (hence the words Fatto a Mano in Italia on the OTTO label).
Behind OTTO’s impressive menswear collection is founder Tony Giallonardo, who has selected or designed every item on the premises in accordance with his inimitable style and vision developed over thirty years in the luxury menswear industry. One expression of his vision is OTTO’s use of lively colours and restricting black from its collections. The darkest hues available are navy blue and dark grey, which Giallonadro believes helps clients “embrace the rich colours available in Italian fabrics, and not retreat to the safety of black.”
Giallonardo also acts as a personal stylist to many celebrities, friends, and other longstanding clients around the world. The OTTO boutique is designed by prominent Milan-based architect and interior designer Ezio Riva. All elements of design have been developed to pay homage to Italian tradition, yet are executed with a modern edge. With the collection spread over two floors, the boutique also boasts the Napoli Room – an exclusive VIP space – as well as a garden terrace where OTTO clients can relax and enjoy a cigar or drink while visiting the boutique.
Customers are also given complimentary use of the store’s eye-catching private bar and access to the store’s private gym, complete with a steam room and spa area. As an added touch, clients are able to train in the store’s gym with personal trainer and award-winning fitness champion, Linn Hansen.
